Volunteer at the 2025 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge
Event Volunteers Needed!
We need your help to run the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) simulator display at the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge 2025.
WHERE: Bridgestone World Solar Challenge Village – Victoria Square
WHEN: Thursday 28, Friday 29, Saturday 30 & Sunday 31 August 2025 inclusive
Simulator volunteers will work as a team to ensure all visitors to the RFDS display have an exciting and engaging experience. Volunteers will assist in handing out RFDS giveaways, directing visitors in and out of the simulator and assist with taking donations.
Morning Shift (Daily): 9:00am – 2:00pm
Afternoon Shift (Daily): 1:00pm – 5:00pm
Each shift has a roster of 3-4 people
You will receive:
- Volunteer t-shirt to wear for the shift
- Snacks and refreshments
- An opportunity to enjoy the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge festivities before and/or after your shift
- A reference and/or certificate of appreciation available upon request.
