As one Mundi Mundi Bash comes to fruition, we are excitedly preparing for the next outback festival in just a few months’ time

The inaugural festival is kicking off April 21-23 with preparations for the second event coming together for August 18-20.

The Flying Doctor is again excited to be the major charity sponsor for the Mundi Mundi Bash, which will feature a dazzling array of homegrown artists.

Artists including Jimmy Barnes, Missy Higgins, Kasey Chambers, Jon Stevens, Daryl Braithwaite and many more will rock out to audiences at Belmont Station, on the Mundi Mundi Plains.

RFDSSE Chief Medical Officer Dr Randall Greenberg said the organisation was proud to be the charity partner for the Broken Hill Mundi Mundi Bash.

“As a charitable organisation we rely on community donations to help us continue delivering vital healthcare services to people across the outback, including mental health, primary healthcare and life-saving emergency medical retrievals,” Dr Greenberg said.

“So, every dollar raised from the Mundi Mundi Bash will have a positive impact to the communities and people who rely so heavily on the Flying Doctor.”

Founder and Managing Director of The Outback Music Festival Group, Greg Donovan, said when looking for a charity partner the Royal Flying Doctor Service was a no-brainer.

“We have supported the RFDS via the Big Red Bash events for six years and look forward to extending that support with the new Broken Hill Mundi Mundi Bash,” he said.

“Our events are staged in incredibly remote regions, and for the event and our patrons who travel long distances to attend, knowing the RFDS is on hand is hugely comforting.”

We can’t wait to share with you more information on the next incredible show, so keep an eye out for further details over the coming months.
