Big year for Broken Hill Women's Auxiliary

For more than 70 years the Broken Hill Women’s Auxiliary have been supporting the RFDS and this year is no different, with the treasured group announcing at its latest AGM that it will donate $100,000 for the year. Broken Hill Regional Service Manager Jackie Hanniver and Community Engagement Coordinator Annette Ohlsen were in attendance at the AGM.

The last 12 months were great for the Auxiliary with their Pudding Drive raising thousands and providing so many – from across NSW, as well as Queensland and WA – with their Christmas dessert.

The Black Tie Ball in May was also a great success, with the attendance of several stars of the RFDS television show adding an extra layer of excitement.

We’re very grateful to the dedicated group of women who selflessly fundraise for us all year round and Annette was very pleased to present them with a didgeridoo signed by the artists who performed at the 2023 Mundi Mundi Bash to assist them with their future fundraising.
