Royal Flying Doctor Service (South Eastern Section) is now seeking applications for the full-time position of Technical Services Senior Officer based in the Sydney office.

Working in conjunction with our Head of Airworthiness, the successful applicant will be responsible for providing specialised technical support to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operations.

This role will see the successful incumbent advise the Head of Airworthiness on technical matters pertaining to aircraft maintenance programs, safety critical events and improve fleet reliability by developing and implementing reliability monitoring and improvement plans.

To be considered for this position you must:

• Hold tertiary qualifications at degree or post graduate level in aerospace, aeronautical, mechanical or electrical engineering or aviation management, or equivalent industry experience.
• Demonstrated Continued Airworthiness Management Organisation or industry experience in maintenance control or technical services.
• Hold an aircraft maintenance engineer licence issued by CASA
• Experience in electronic aircraft management applications and programs
• Possesses detailed specialised technical knowledge and experience in developing or managing aircraft maintenance programs and/or reliability programs with Part 23 and/or Part 25 aircraft
• Skilled in research and the preparation of technical analysis and justification documents
• Proficient in investigation and research techniques pertinent to aircraft airworthiness standards
