Technical Services Manager

The RFDS is seeking an experienced aircraft industry professional to fulfill the role of Technical Services Manager. The successful applicant will be reporting directly to the HAAMC, performing a variety of Airworthiness duties including overseeing engineering projects in relation to acquisition, modification and upgrades of RFDS aircraft.

To meet requirements of this role, applicants must possess and be able to demonstrate the following qualities:

· Minimum of 10 years' working experience as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer and/ or in an equivalent Technical Services senior role;

· High level of knowledge regarding CASA regulations and requirements in respect to aircraftair worthiness modification;

· High level of technical expertise and knowledge in Project Management of aircraft avionics and mechanical systems installation i.e. project scoping, reporting and delivery;

· Excellent interpersonal skills with strength to communicate across all levels, with staff, internal/external customers and suppliers/vendors.

· Ability to work efficiently, effectively and unsupervised on individual assignments or team projects;

· Prior experience with Safety and Quality Management Systems and/ or Flight Data Management Systems;

· Proven knowledge of engineering maintenance systems such as IAS;

· Advanced computer skills in Microsoft office suite including Microsoft Project;

· Eligibility to hold an Aviation security identification Card (ASIC).

· B1 and/ or B2 license applicable to Beechcraft B200 and B300/B350 aircraft would be preferred.

· Eligible to live and work in Australia
