Retail Stock Controller

The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia (RFDS) is one of the largest and most comprehensive aeromedical organisations in the world. Using the latest in aviation, medical and communications technology, we deliver extensive health care and 24-hour emergency service to those who live in and travel through remote, rural and regional Australia.

Based in Broken Hill, the Retail Stock Controller supports business processes to ensure merchandise products are purchased and stocked and their inventory is accurately managed. This is a new position working out of our RFDS Broken Hill Heritage Outback Experience Centre to support supplier negotiations and will be responsible for setting up new product lines accurately in our cloud based digital platforms, monitor and optimise inventory levels across multiple locations, do Stock Transfers and help managing the third partly fulfilment supplier.

Role Responsibilities:
Forecast and identify merchandise purchase needs
Stock management across our eCommerce and Retail stores
Reporting and insights
Supplier negotiations including costs, delivery times and distribution of shipments
Undertake training to learn how to provide support for other users for our cloud-based, integrated digital supply chain platforms

Essential Criteria for the Role
Outstanding organisational skills
Experience in building relationships with external suppliers, customers and stakeholders
Excellent data analytics and Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent negotiation skills
