The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia South Eastern Section is seeking an experienced flight nurse to lead our flight nurse team at Broken Hill.
As the Senior Flight Nurse you will lead a team of committed nurses who provide emergency, inter-hospital and retrieval care to communities across remote Australia.
Your day will involve an interesting mix of leadership, coaching and clinical work.
As a member of the health leadership team, you will be responsible for fostering a culture that embraces the highest levels of clinical care through accountability, operational performance and teamwork. You will be a key influencer and decision maker, and will work collaboratively within cross functional and geographically dispersed teams.
Essential Qualifications:
- APHRA nurse and midwifery registration
- Extensive experience in aeromedical retrievals, emergency medicine or intensive care
- Well established interpersonal and leadership skills
Desirable Qualifications:
- Qualifications in critical care or aviation nursing
- ALS, BLS, PALS
