Senior Communications Advisor

The RFDS South Eastern Section is currently looking for a full time Senior Communications Advisor to join our busy Marketing and Communications team in Sydney.

The Senior Communications Advisor is responsible for driving internal/external communications and supporting change agendas and key outcomes by building and steering a multi channel strategy. This includes public relations, media campaigns, stakeholder engagement, press office, events, content development.

This role will drive internal communications to support organisational performance through information flow, organisational change and contribute to cultural growth and improvement.

The role also drives an external communications agenda that aims to protect and enhance the RFDS brand through external channels and broaden the RFDS’ appeal, visibility and supporter consideration

Key Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (Communications/Journalism/Marketing);
- Demonstrated experience in internal/external communication. Experience in a health organisation is desirable but not mandatory;
- Content development skills across various channels, including print, online, video and social media;
- Advanced writing and proof reading skills;
- Proficiency with computers including MS Office applications, experience in Content Management Systems and SharePoint management desirable.
