Remote Area Nurse

The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia is the leading provider of health services to remote inland Australia. Our team of health professionals provides comprehensive primary health care and acute medical and retrieval services using a fleet of modern, well equipped, pressurised twin engine aircraft.
We are currently seeking applications from experienced Registered Nurses with proven rural/remote experience in meeting the diverse needs of a remote community. A fly/in fly/out 2 week rotation will provide the community of Wanaaring with a 24/7 nursing service composed of clinics from Monday to Friday with an after hours on call service to meet the community's needs.
Essential Criteria for the Role
- Registered Nurse APRHA
- Rural/remote experience with competencies/experience in the primary health care setting and in the rural emergency setting.
- Certificates directly related to practice such as chronic disease (eg diabetes, asthma), remote maternity emergency care, ACLS etc.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Minimum 5 years Post Graduate experience.
- Current Australian Driver's license.
