Psychologist - Dubbo

The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia (South Eastern Section) provides comprehensive health services to rural and remote communities in far west NSW, SA and QLD.

Our Mental Health Program is undergoing a period of expansion that includes a new Full Time role located in Dubbo for an experienced Psychologist who has a passion for rural and remote mental health.

This role will work in conjunction with other RFDS medical and allied health staff in Dubbo and be part of an exciting expanding Mental Health/Alcohol and other Drugs service across the network.

On some days this varied role may take you to remote communities where you will provide individual and group therapies. Other days you will undertake consultations by telephone or Skype, or face to face at our Dubbo Base.

Your skills will be utilised to improve the mental health outcomes for people living in rural and remote areas, and build awareness and social and emotional well being to the communities of our sector.

If you have the relevant tertiary qualifications, appropriate clinical experience and an interest in remote practice we'd love to hear from you.
