The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia South Eastern Section is seeking an experienced medical officer to lead and mentor a diverse team of primary health medical professionals from our Broken Hill base.
Our committed team at Broken Hill provides GP and primary health services to the local community, and flies in pressurised modern aircraft to conduct clinics and consultations across remote Western NSW. We are significantly expanding our telehealth resources and our primary health services.
As the Medical Team Leader Broken Hill your day will involve an interesting mix of teaching, management and clinical work. You will play a supervisory role in registrar education and training, and will be the senior medical officer for the Broken Hill base.
Essential Qualifications:
- FRACGP or FACRRM
- Good interpersonal and leadership skills
- Rural generalist with critical care skills desirable, but not essential
