The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia (RFDS) is one of the largest and most comprehensive aeromedical organisations in the world. Using the latest in aviation, medical and communications technology, we deliver extensive health care and 24-hour emergency service to those who live in and travel through remote, rural and regional Australia.

This pivotal role is part of the Corporate Services Team and is responsible for the continuous strategic development of all ICT systems to meet current and future business needs. You will manage information technology services and support, resources and programs within the RFDS South Eastern Section. Travel across the section will be required, and the base location will be negotiated with the successful applicant (Broken Hill, Dubbo or Waterloo).

Do you have the following essential experience/education?

  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in a relevant discipline
  • At least five years professional experience in information technology and/or telecommunications
  • Demonstrated proficiency in ICT project management
  • Demonstrated proficiency in cloud base and in house systems
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • The right to work in Australia
