The Royal Flying Doctor Service (South Eastern Section) is seeking applications from highly experienced and effective health leaders for the newly created role of Health Service Manager, Dubbo to enable the successful implementation of our Health Services Strategic Plan and further our mission to deliver improved outcomes to remote, regional and rural communities.
About the Role
In this influential leadership role, you will work closely with the Senior Medical Officer to manage and provide direction and support to all related staff to ensure the successful delivery of a diverse range of primary healthcare and emergency services, designed to meet the complex and evolving growth needs of our communities as our health service footprint grows.
About you
We are seeking an exceptional, business focused leader with a range of skills, who can guide, mentor and support a team in a complex and varied health service environment. Our ideal candidate has:
• Appropriate Health Service Management qualifications/experience
• An understanding of rural and remote practice in both Primary Health and Emergency/Transport Health Services.
• Demonstrated high level skills in management and leadership, including change management and service development
• Experience in strategic and operational planning
• Budget and financial acumen
• Registration with AHPRA is desirable but not essential
The successful candidate will be supported to achieve including a comprehensive induction and coaching with our General Manager Health and relevant Senior Medical Officer.
