The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia (RFDS) South Eastern (SE) Section is seeking registrars entering their final year of training to join our team of multidisciplinary health professionals. Are you looking for the best of both worlds with the opportunity to develop your clinical skills while working with a skilled dedicated team of emergency/retrieval and primary health care clinicians in delivering a board range of care to our many isolated communities?

You will work as a member of a team of GPs and be supported to expand your scope of practice as well as experiencing the deep professional satisfaction that comes from providing comprehensive healthcare to all people of the Outback including isolated Aboriginal populations. You will be provided with regular supervision and teaching sessions by experienced GP's from diverse clinical backgrounds.

The RFDS provides fly in fly out clinics,base clinics, remote outreach and emergency care 24/7 from its headquarters in Broken Hill. You will receive the warmest welcome when you arrive at any of our eighteen remote clinics and community facilities wherein you will be busy managing the full breadth of diagnostic and therapeutic challenges.

Our aircraft are modern, safe and pressurised and fitted out with leading edge equipment to meet all needs when in the air or on the ground.

Qualifications/ Experience that we are looking for:

Enrolment with RACGP or ACRRM training programs or equivalent

General practice experience in the rural or remote environment is desirable

Additional qualifications/diplomas in, anaesthetics, obstetrics and/or emergency medicine, highly desirable but not essential
