We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest for Full Time, Part Time and Casual positions across a number of South Eastern Section locations including Broken Hill, Dubbo and Wanaaring NSW and Cooper Basin in SA, with the possibility of other locations across New South Wales in the future.
We are seeking applicants that may have qualifications in the areas:
Flight Nurse Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife - 5 years Post Grad experience - ICU/Emergency experience and/or qualification.
Practice Nurse Registered Nurse + / - Registered Midwife - Previous General Practice / Chronic Disease Management Experience.
Remote Area Nurse Registered Nurse + / - Registered Midwife - Previous General Practice / Chronic Disease Management Experience.
Enrolled Nurse Previous General Practice / Care Navigator Experience.
Flight Nursing - Midwifery Scholarship - Do you have extensive Critical Care Experience and would like to become a midwife to work with the RFDS? Please ask about our Midwifery Scholarship.
Essential Qualifications
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to prioritise and organise
- Current driver's license
Desirable Qualifications in one or more of these areas
- Previous General Practice experience
- Rural/remote experience with competencies / experience in the primary health care setting and in the rural emergency setting
- Critical Care Qualifications and / or experience (ED or ICU)
- Certificates directly related to practice such as chronic disease (eg Diabetes, asthma), remote maternity emergency care, ACLS etc.
- Experience in undertaking health assessments.
- Experience in rural or remote areas
- Flight Nursing experience
