The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia South Eastern Section provides comprehensive health services, including dentistry, to remote communities in far west NSW, SA and QLD.

We are looking for a unique individual, to take up a —position with our dental team in Broken Hill.

We need a strong, passionate and confident individual who enjoys the challenges of rural and remote Dentistry, thinks outside the box, and is excited about an opportunity to make a difference to the people of these remote towns, by providing dental services and oral health education to 15 different locations, including mobile dental services from our new dental van.

Your week is a combination of flying to remote communities to provide general dental services, local public health dental clinics and dental treatment and education to Aboriginal Health Services

Applicants should be registered as a dentist with AHPRA, be experienced in all aspects of general dentistry and have a interest in public oral health. There may be the opportunity to provide mentoring to final year dental students. You will also need a current driver’s licence, a light rigid licence would be an advantage, medical defence insurance and a willingness to travel to remote locations. Overnight stays will be necessary.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our aero-dental team; providing much needed dental services to rural and remote Australia.
