The RFDS South Eastern Section has provided dental services to people in rural and remote communities in Far West and Upper Western NSW, SA and QLD for more than 20 years. Our oral healthcare services and clinics are vital for providing rural and remote communities with access to high-quality dental care.
An exciting opportunity exist to for volunteer or paid work for the RFDS SE Section in either Broken Hill or Dubbo.
Our dental team provides oral health services via fly in fly out clinics from Dubbo and Broken Hill, as well as services from our mobile dental van. The RFDS SE section Dental Team visits over 25 locations across Far West and Western NSW. Some days you will be flying to remote communities to provide general dental services and other days you will be working in an Indigenous community or providing services from our fully equipped dental van!
We now have opportunities available for experienced Dentist to join our team in Broken Hill and Dubbo, for short or long term contracts, a minimum of two weeks.
We are looking for AHPRA registered dentists, who have the right to work in Australia.
These exciting and diverse positions exposure to a broad range of dental conditions, with good patient flow, and opportunity to work in some of the more remote locations. These position will also be responsible for student mentoring and education on an ongoing basis.
Only dentists with a genuine interest in remote dentistry, and a willingness to live in Broken Hill/Dubbo for the period please apply.
