Dental Support Officer

The Royal Flying Doctor Service South Eastern Section is a leading provider of health services to rural and remote communities, providing primary health care, health education, preventative and public health, emergency and retrieval services.

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic, team orientated person to join our Dubbo Dental team as a Dental Support Officer.

The primary responsibility of the Dental Support Officer is to drive the dental van to locations across Far West and Upper Western NSW, as well as setting up and packing down the van for service.

Working with a team of young and vibrant dentists, dental assistants and oral health therapists, the Dental Support Officer will be part of team providing much needed dental services to remote and indigenous communities.

To be successful, applicants must have a light rigid drivers licence with a good driving record. This position will require overnight stays of up to a week and would suit applicants who have a genuine interest in community and public health, who love rural life and who are adaptable to change.
