Dental Assistant

The Royal Flying Doctor Service South Eastern Section is a leading provider of health services to rural and remote communities, providing primary health care, health education, preventative and public health, emergency and retrieval services.

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic, team orientated Dental Assistant to join our Dubbo Dental team in a full time capacity.

As a Dental Assistant you will be responsible for providing clinical assistance to our dentists and oral health therapist from our Dubbo and Broken Hill Bases, as well as in our mobile dental van to communities across Far West and Upper Western NSW. You will join a team of young and vibrant dentists and oral health therapists providing much needed dental services to remote and indigenous communities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

* Chair-side assisting to Dentist, Dental Therapist, Oral Health therapist and Students
* Infection control protocols and sterilisation requirements
* Oral health education
* Maintenance and ordering of stock
* Other duties as required
* This is an exciting opportunity to join our aero-dental team. The work involves flying to remote locations, overnight stays and working in various clinics including the RFDS Dental Van.
