Job Summary

The Database Analyst is responsible for executing donor segmentation, extraction and analysis of fundraising campaigns from the Raisers Edge donor database across multiple channels and portfolios.
In this role you will work closely with the fundraising and donor support teams and act as a key contact for database related enquiries and provide data insights through regular reporting of donor profiles and fundraising reports. As a member of the database team the Database Analyst also provides support to the Fundraising Data Manager and Database Coordinators as required.
Job details
In this role you will responsible for:
Database segmentation and extraction of data for fundraising campaigns across Direct Mail, email and telemarketing channels including liaising with mail house and telemarketing partners.
Supporting Database and Fundraising team with regular reporting of donor profiles, campaign results and analysis.
Set up and maintenance of templates for donor acknowledgement letters and receipts within Raiser’s Edge database.
Being able to interrogate data and problem solve for data inaccuracies.
Maximising and maintaining database integrity by having a thorough understanding of Raisers Edge business rules in data set up.
Keeping abreast of data privacy and PCI compliance and ensuring these are adhered to at all times.
Your skills and experience
Advanced experience with Raisers Edge
Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, graphing, modelling)
Experience with SQL programming language, coding and extracting data for insights analysis
Ability to manipulate, interpret, organise and display data
Demonstrated attention to detail and problem solving skills
Ability to document and present insights to a range of stakeholders
Strong mathematics background
