Our Mascot Aviation Engineering Team is Expanding!

The RFDS South Eastern Section is an iconic not for profit organisation, providing an invaluable service to rural and remote communities.

Our Mascot operation is seeking applications from suitably qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (LAME) who hold an Airframe/Engine B1.1 Licence to join our Aircraft Maintenance Team at Mascot.

Ideally you will have experience and current ratings on KingAir B200 and B350 series aircraft with PT6 endorsement, Licence training will be offered to the right candidate if not already held. You will have worked in general aviation with a proven track record of problem solving, a diligent work history and exceptional interpersonal analytical skills.

You must be available to participate in a rotating 24/7 shift roster of 12 hour shifts servicing a 38 hour/week. Along with a good working knowledge of WHS requirements, you will have demonstrated a customer service approach to your work and the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

Reporting to the Senior Base Engineer, the successful LAME will be required to make determinations in regards to defects and discrepancies, recognise and report unsafe conditions and conduct Certification of Maintenance tasks after a probationary period.

To join our team at Mascot, LAME applicants must have:

- B1.1 License with PT6 endorsed rating or ability to successfully complete this training
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Perform tasks with an emphasis on duty of care to self and other employees
- Ability to gain and maintain an aviation security card (ASIC)
