Acquisition Coordinator – Sydney office

The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia (RFDS) is one of the largest and most comprehensive aeromedical organisations in the world. We deliver extensive health care and 24-hour emergency service to those who live in and travel through remote, rural and regional Australia.

The Royal Flying Doctor Service South Eastern Section has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Acquisition Coordinator based at the Sydney office that will play a key role in the implementation of programs and day-to-day fundraising operations in line with organisational plans and objectives.

Reporting to the Acquisition Manager, this role will coordinate the delivery of donor acquisition program across multiple channels to deliver net income and donor targets. A key focus is on diversification and expansion of channels beyond an established direct mail program through to digital, face to face, SMS, lead conversion and TV for both regular giving and cash donors.

This exciting opportunity will be responsible for ensuring that all opportunities to secure new individual donors are maximised and that Royal Flying Doctor Service South Eastern Section diversifies its acquisition portfolio.

Skills Required

You are an experienced fundraiser with a proven record in fundraising or relationship marketing. Your skills have been developed from coordinating acquisition or relationship based programs. You will be able to demonstrate your ability in:

• knowledge and experience in fundraising programs and techniques
• ability to monitor and analyse campaign performance and report back to the relevant stakeholders
• planning and project management skills with the ability to establish and monitor budgets
• ability to engage and liaise with stakeholders and third-party suppliers
• strong interpersonal and relationship skills
• ability to work both as part of a team and independently
• strong work ethic, energy and enthusiasm

Desirable Skills

• Raisers Edge experience or equivalent
• Experience with Google Analytics and Google AdWords
