The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) of Australia South Eastern Section provides comprehensive health services, including community engagement, to remote communities in far west NSW SA and QLD. We currently have an opportunity for an Alcohol & other Drugs (AoD) Community Engagement Officer to assist in service delivery team for the Outreach Drug and Alcohol Services located from the hub in Cobar.
We are looking for someone with:
• Experience in written and verbal information, to public presentations, advocacy, community development, group facilitation and one on one engagement
• Experience in accordance with legislation as outlined by the relevant professional board, capabilities and qualifications;
• Experience in working in culturally diverse environments where high levels of respect and client confidentiality is required;
• Demonstrated experience in networking, community development, health promotion, advocacy and working in partnership & Program delivery.
