As a Non-Emergency Patient Transport (NEPTS) Ground Registered Nurse, you'll play a vital role in ensuring patients receive safe, compassionate, and professional care during their healthcare journey.

The Opportunity
As an RFDSSE NEPTS Ground RN, you will provide clinical care and support to patients during non-emergency ground transfers between healthcare facilities and airports, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey.
In this role you will:
- Deliver safe, high-quality clinical care during patient transfers
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor clinical stability throughout transport
- Recognise and respond to clinical deterioration appropriately
- Liaise with hospitals, the Operations Centre, the Aero-medical team and other healthcare stakeholders
- Maintain patient documentation and clinical standards
- Contribute to operational and administrative activities when required
- Work within a highly supportive and collaborative transport healthcare team
About You
You're an experienced Registered Nurse who remains calm under pressure, communicates confidently, and enjoys working autonomously while delivering exceptional patient care.
To be successful, you'll bring:
Essential
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Current ALS and BLS certification (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 3 years post-graduate acute nursing experience
- ICU and/or Emergency Department experience
- NSW Driver License
- Ability to obtain required clearances and mandatory checks
