TOOTH – The Outback Oral Treatment and Health Program

The Royal Flying Doctor service of Australia South Eastern Section provides comprehensive
health services, including dentistry, to remote communities in far west NSW, SA and QLD.

We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Full Time dental assistant to assist in the the

provision of dental services to the upper western section from our Dubbo Base.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Chair-side assisting to Dentist, Dental Therapist, Oral Health therapist and Students.
• Infection control protocols and Sterilisation requirements.
• Oral health education
• Maintenance and ordering of stock.
• Other duties as required.

This involves flying to remote locations, overnight stays and working in a mobile dental van, as well as

some administrative duties.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our aero-dental team, providing much needed dental

services to rural and remote communities.
