Engineering Support Officer
Get off the tools...Are you an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer looking to ‘get off the tools’ and expand your career in maintenance management? Do you have aircraft technical knowledge? If the answer is yes, then we have an amazing opportunity for you.
This newly created role is multi-faceted in that it covers a broad range of tasks which include regulatory compliance, engineering training, stores management and compliance and aircraft maintenance coordination and reporting.
The Role
- Assisting in transitioning the maintenance organisation into CASA Part 145 compliance
- Coordination of Engineering training and management of technical training material
- Management of Engineering documentation
- Transition of and ongoing management tooling and spare parts into our new maintenance software
- Logistics functions and reporting
- Safety reporting and assistance with resolution implementation
- Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance with relevant experience or experience working in the aviation industry preferably in a maintenance department
- Experience working as an Aircraft maintenance Engineer (AME) or Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) would be highly regarded
- Understanding of Stores/logistics within an aviation environment
- Understanding of Quality, Risk and Safety Management Systems
