At RFDS, you'll be the guardian of medical records, ensuring their precise maintenance to facilitate the delivery of top-tier healthcare to those who need it most.

What would you be doing?

Your responsibilities will be as diverse as the Australian landscape we serve. You'll handle a gamut of requests for the release of medical records, ranging from patients to government agencies and legal subpoenas. A deep understanding of Australian Privacy Principles and the Health Records and Information Privacy Act (2002) will be your compass, guiding your decision-making regarding record release. Furthermore, you'll harness the power of business intelligence tools to access health data, transforming it into meaningful insights that will guide health leaders in enhancing service delivery and development. Working with RFDS promises an enriching and multifaceted role that allows you to make a tangible impact on the lives of individuals in some of Australia's most remote areas. Your key responsibilities include:

Compliance: Ensure that all medical records and information adhere to regulatory standards, including privacy and security guidelines.
Reporting: Generate regular reports and statistical data to assist in decision-making and the improvement of healthcare services.
Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to facilitate the flow of accurate information and support patient care.
Quality Improvement: Contribute to ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare quality and patient outcomes through data analysis and reporting.

What do you bring to RFDS?
