The Royal Flying Doctor Service South Eastern Section is recruiting a Health Project Officer. This newly created role will work in the Clinical Governance Team but will be responsible for managing projects that require collaboration with most areas of the organisation as well as external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will work under a one-year contract, with the opportunity for expansion, subject to funding. The role will oversee multiple software development and implementation projects, office/pharmacy design, and equipment procurement system and process development.
Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 (based on experience)

- Assess project and program performance, identify areas of improvement, and suggest changes to ensure positive outcomes, demonstrate flexibility and cope with day-to-day changes in priorities.
- Investigate identified issues relating to asset development, make recommendations and prepare budget estimates.
- Undertakes research, environmental scanning, and analysis activities necessary to determine best practice standards and methodologies for the delivery of project objectives.
- Provide advice to management and other key stakeholders, in connection with improvements to the delivery of healthcare services.
- Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with current and relevant Government policies, procedures, and practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in a health-related or business-related field
- Experience in a project management or project officer role with demonstrated achievements.
- Ability to provide good interpersonal, verbal and written communication.
- Advanced level of use of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality work and customer service.
