Description
The Royal Flying Doctor Service South Eastern Section is a leading provider of health services to remote areas of NSW, SA and QLD. The Royal Flying Doctor Service provides primary health care, health education, preventative and public health, emergency and retrieval services. We are seeking applications for the position of Dental Support Officer to be based from Dubbo.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, Dental Support Officer drive our latest Dental Van to network locations. This will see the Dental Support Officer will be required to drive to communities in the Far West and Upper Western Sector to provide a comprehensive oral health service to remote communities. The successful candidate will join our team that includes dentists, dental assistants and oral heath therapist, to help bridge the gap in oral health across Australia.
The successful applicant will be required to:
- Be able to stay overnight in remote communities as necessary;
- Be responsible for driving, setting up, packing up & securing dental equipment in the Dental Van, as well as general vehicle & dental equipment maintenance;
- Hold a Light Rigid Licence as a minimum; and
- Be willing to assist with oral health promotion, sterilisation and data input to dental program Titanium.
