Description
We have an exciting new role as a Flights Operations Training Administrator based in Dubbo or Sydney and is part of the Flight Operations Team. This team supports the safe operation of Royal Flying Doctor Service South Eastern Section (RFDSSE) aircraft and maintains the Air Operators Certificate (AOC) on behalf of the organisation. This enables the organisation to conduct aeromedical operations across our section as approved by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA).

Administration: Maintain pilot records, roster planning, scheduling and compliance and general administrative duties. Actively manage the provisioning of AOC training courses through the learning management system and other training and checking software.
Planning and Support: Assist with the planning and implementation of Training and Checking within the Flight Operations department. Provide administrative assistance with writing manuals, presentations and other AOC documentation.
Responsibility: Help coordinate training resources with operational requirements. Responsible for the collection and secure handling of confidential and sensitive data, analysis and data reporting.
Research: Assist the Training and Checking team to develop, maintain and grow policies, procedures and methods in line with best practise, innovation and consistent improvement.
Essential experience:
- Practical aviation or administrative qualification desirable or relevant years of experience
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
- Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines
- Professional interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including staff, external partners and suppliers
- Strong organisational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
- Forward thinking ability and demonstrated proactive approach to problem solving
- Australian citizenship, residency or an approved work visa
- Evidence of full COVID-19 vaccination
- Prior experience working in an aviation operations/training department
- Experience within a Registered Training Organisation
- Have a Private Pilot Licence (PPL) or higher
