Description

The Royal Flying Doctor Service is an organisation that requires little introduction. You will be responsible for providing care to patients accessing the NEPTS for transfer from facility to facility including, but not limited to, ensuring patients remain clinically safe during their occasion of care, remaining ‘between the flags’; providing ongoing communication with the patient and their medical escort, as well as various external stakeholders; identifying clinical deterioration and escalating clinical concerns in an appropriate and timely fashion.

When not involved in patient care, the NEPTS RN will be involved in administrative and base duties as determined by the Senior Nurse, Emergency and Transport.
