Description

The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia (RFDS) is one of the largest and most comprehensive aeromedical organisations in the world. Using the latest in aviation, medical and communications technology, we deliver extensive health care and 24-hour emergency service to those who live in and travel through remote, rural and regional Australia.

We’re currently seeking a Supporter Relations Coordinator to join our team in Surry Hills to provide friendly, proactive and engaging interactions with financial and non-financial supporters and the general public. This is an exciting opportunity to join Australia’s most trusted organisation as a member of a friendly and supportive team to optimise the supporter experience.

About the Role:

  • Reach out to supporters, primarily through the telephone and email to answer communications to financial, non-financial supporters and members of the general public.
  • Build effective relationships quickly to engage and retain supporters and internal stakeholders
  • Meet general donor gift processing service level agreement times by undertaking the processing of single donations received via mail, phone and in person within SLA timelines.
  • Maintain database integrity, following internal privacy policies.

The Royal Flying Doctor Service relies on the generous donations from individual supporters to carry out its vital work and mission to deliver improved health outcomes to rural, regional and remote communities of Australia.

What experience do you have?
  • Well-developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence in speaking to supporters on inbound/outbound phone calls
  • Fast and accurate data entry and administration skills
  • Experience in donor/customer services or call centre
  • Donor retention experience desirable
  • Ability to plan and organise work to meet deadlines and prioritize daily tasks
  • Demonstrated experience of using databases, preferably Raisers Edge
  • Experience of MS Office
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Evidence of full COVID-19 Vaccination
