The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia (RFDS) is one of the largest and most comprehensive aeromedical organisations in the world. Using the latest in aviation, medical and communications technology, we deliver extensive health care and 24-hour emergency service to those who live in and travel through remote, rural and regional Australia.

With continued growth within our services’ the Operations Centre located at the RFDS Dubbo Base is expanding to provide a 24-hour operation and we have a current vacancy for two Duty Operations Coordinators. The role is responsible for answering incoming calls and coordinating all flight &/or ground operations (Rural Aerial Health Service, Dental Program & Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service) undertaken and managed by Dubbo Base to ensure all flights are undertaken in a timely, logical and safe manner in accordance with the various contracts held by RFDSSE.

Ideally, you will have experience in a health care, aviation or logistics setting. You will exhibit sound communication, administration, data analysis, reporting and organisational skills, and will be comfortable in liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Coordinators will work a shift roster covering a span of hours 24 hours per day / 7 days per week, with some periods of unsupervised attendance.
