The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia (RFDS) is one of the largest and most comprehensive aeromedical organisations in the world. Using the latest in aviation, medical and communications technology, we deliver extensive health care and 24-hour emergency service to those who live in and travel through remote, rural and regional Australia.
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join our Finance Team in a newly created role. The successful candidate can be based in Sydney, Dubbo or Broken Hill and will initially focus on the delivery of a new budgeting software.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Design and lead the business planning and budgeting process in conjunction with the General Manager Corporate Services
- Partner with Business Unit Managers to provide consultancy and assistance with completion of the business plans and budgets for RFDSSE
- Provide accurate and timely monthly management reporting & variance analysis
- Provide advice, technical support, information and data to support General Managers and senior leaders
- Degree in Finance/Accounting/Business studies
- Professional qualification such as CPA
- Qualified accountant with 5+ years’ experience
- Budgeting and forecasting experience and skill set to help bridge the gap on reforecasting in a rapidly changing business environment
- Evidence of full COVID-19 vaccination
