Description

The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia (RFDS) is one of the largest and most comprehensive aeromedical organisations in the world. Using the latest in aviation, medical and communications technology, we deliver extensive primary health care and 24-hour emergency service to those who live in and travel through remote, rural and regional Australia.

This role will be based in our Surry Hills office and is responsible for coordinating the day-to day IT activities, manage the escalated Helpdesk queries and ensure out key systems are operating as they should.

Responsibilities also include but not limited to:

  • Lead service delivery support efforts and make sure all problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions
  • Provide escalation and advice for Helpdesk tickets
  • Ensure all systems are patched to appropriate security levels
  • Participate in the Helpdesk on-call roster as needed
  • Maintain asset register of network-connected device
Essential Criteria for the Role
  • Exposure to Cloud technologies, such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
  • Experience with Active Directory, MS Exchange Server/Exchange Online, Anti-virus and Office 365
  • Extensive experience with rollouts, deployments and exposure to scripting (Powershell)
  • Strong technical knowledge of hardware and software solutions
  • Be able to travel to our regional and remote locations
  • Evidence of full COVID-19 vaccination
