Description
The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia (RFDS) is one of the largest and most comprehensive aeromedical organisations in the world. Using the latest in aviation, medical and communications technology, we deliver extensive health care and 24-hour emergency service to those who live in and travel through remote, rural and regional Australia.
To assist us to provide these world class services we are seeking applications from a motivated and dynamic person to play a key role in our ambitious and exciting Fundraising program.
Based in our Sydney Office in Surry Hills, and the primary purpose is to lead the design and delivery of our community partnerships and fundraising portfolio to build and engage relationships with community groups, community organisations and dedicated Auxiliary groups.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Develop and implement Community Partnerships strategy to maximise growth and revenue
- Provide leadership and line management to direct report/s. Monitor performance and feedback through regular performance appraisals and manager connects
- Provide extensive personal interaction with Auxiliary Support Groups and significant partners
- Develop and execute end-to-end event marketing plans
- Passionate about fundraising and philanthropy
- Exceptional telephone manner and customer service skills
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, enjoys building relationships
- Proficient understanding of Fundraising industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Excellent digital skills, experience with Raiser’s Edge or similar database
- Evidence of full COVID-19 vaccination
