Description

The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia (RFDS) is one of the largest and most comprehensive aeromedical organisations in the world. Using the latest in aviation, medical and communications technology, we deliver extensive health care and 24-hour emergency service to those who live in and travel through remote, rural and regional Australia.

To assist us to provide these world class services we are seeking applications from a motivated and dynamic person to play a key role in our ambitious and exciting Fundraising program.

This role is based in our Sydney Office in Surry Hills, and will work under the guidance of the Gift in Wills Senior Coordinator to assist in the delivery of the Gift in Wills and In Memory fundraising programs.

Responsibilities include are but not limited to:

  • Accurately maintain and update bequest profiles and data in our CRM
  • Attend mediation or hearings when required
  • Liaise with solicitors, executors, and service providers in a prompt and professional manner
  • Assist with copy development and personalised acknowledgement for thank you letters, condolence letters, certificates of appreciation, receipts, and correspondence identified as specials
  • Assist with arranging targeted donor communications and events
  • Support the Senior Coordinators with research projects and program administration
Essential Criteria for the Role
  • Experience in Customer Service or Fundraising
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, enjoys building relationships
  • Ability to manage time and priorities in order to meet deadlines
  • Evidence of full COVID-19 vaccination
