Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – Dubbo, New South Wales
The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia (RFDS) is one of the largest and most comprehensive aeromedical organisations in the world. The RFDS South Eastern Section is seeking applications from suitably Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (LAME) who hold a B1.1 or B2 licence to join our Aircraft Maintenance Team based at Dubbo Airport.
The Location

The Role
Ideally you will have experience and current ratings on King Air B200 and B350 aircraft, have worked in general aviation with a proven track record of problem solving, a diligent work history and excellent analytical skills. You will also have a good working knowledge of WHS requirements, demonstrated experience in customer service practices and can communicate with all levels of Engineering and Operational Departments.
Successful applicants may be required to work a rotating shift pattern across Monday-Friday within the hours of 0600-1900 and 24/7 on-call rotation, often working on your own or unsupervised. You will report to the Senior Base Engineer and be required to make determinations regarding defects and discrepancies, recognise and report unsafe conditions and conduct certification of maintenance tasks after a probationary period. You will be required to participate in the delivery of quality services whilst maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and fellow workers. Additionally you will be prepared to provide coverage in other RFDSSE bases, along with remote breakdown support.

- CASA B1.1/B2 Licence
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Perform tasks with an emphasis on duty of care to self and other employees
- Ability to gain and maintain an aviation security card (ASIC)
