Description
The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia (RFDS) is one of the largest and most comprehensive aeromedical organisations in the world. Using the latest in aviation, medical and communications technology, we deliver extensive health care and 24-hour emergency service to those who live in and travel through remote, rural and regional Australia.
This role is based in our Sydney Office in Surry Hills, the roles primary purpose is to coordinate fundraising and community engagement outcomes through the provision of positive relationship development. This role manages diverse projects including sponsored sporting events and building community partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong digital background with excellent interpersonal skills.

- Passionate about fundraising and philanthropy
- Exceptional telephone manner and customer service skills
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, enjoys building relationships
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Excellent digital skills, experience of donation platforms such as Raisely, EveryDayHero
- Proficiency in working with databases (Raisers Edge preferred)
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills and can demonstrate the ability to effectively multi-task
- Team player who is an energetic self-starter, positive with a friendly approach
- Experience in not-for-profit fundraising and events
- Proficient understanding of Fundraising industry standards and regulatory requirements
