Description

The Base Administrator will assist the Health Services Manager in meeting the daily operational imperatives of Broken Hill Base. This role will be responsible for the administration of work activities that support seamless and efficient delivery of daily and projected contracted services of the RFDS at Broken Hill Base.

Reporting to the Health Services Manager your responsibilities will include, but are NOT limited to:

  • Produce daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly internal and contractual reporting
  • Maintain database records for commercial agreements and RFDS, including flight hours and delays
  • Coordinate and participate in contract meetings including the provision of minutes and agendas
  • Financial management including reporting, processing invoice payments and base banking
  • Stores and procurement including stationary and operational goods and services
  • Coordinate staff uniforms, security passes, Base orientations and site inductions
  • WHS including conduct workplace inspections, coordinate DAMP testing and renewals, coordinate Committee minutes and agendas
  • Internal and external stakeholder relationship management
Essential Criteria:
  • Demonstrated Interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
  • Adaptable to changing circumstances and priorities
  • Ability to manage confidential information
  • Demonstrated experience in a data entry role
  • Experience in a general administration role
  • Basic software applications (MS Office: MS Word and MS Excel as a minimum)
  • Experience in radio operations and/or knowledge of medical terminology is desirable but not essential
