Description
The Royal Flying Doctor Service has opportunities for Enrolled Nurses to join our Primary Health Team to play an instrumental part in the roll out of the COVID19 vaccination. Based in Broken Hill, the Enrolled Nurses will work in our COVID Clinics seeing members of the local community and broader remote community network.
We're currently employing a dedicated COVID19 workforce including Medical Officers, Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Administrative Support.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform care plans and health assessments
- Maintaining accurate and legally acceptable patient records
- Liaise with local clinic staff, Practice Nurses and Doctors about patients
- Relevant registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA); and Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Minimum 3 years acute post graduate nursing experience, or demonstrated skill level
- Demonstrate compliance with NSW Health Occupational Vaccine
- Current Police and Working with Children checks (or an ability to obtain same)
- NSW Drivers Licence
