Technology Support Officer

Job Summary
This role is responsible for managing the IT Helpdesk, supporting and delivering Aviation and Health IT related projects including health initiatives. This role supports the development and implementation of IT infrastructure to the RFDSSE, the maintenance of IT security, data integrity and other communication media including preventative maintenance and changes to technology systems; this comprises hardware, software, network, communications, applications and procurement.

In this role you will responsible for:
• Providing technology and application support across various organisational units and multiple
• geographically diverse sites.
• Hardware support for computers, video conferencing units, projectors, equipment, iPads and iPhones
• System Administration of servers, network equipment and applications
• Maintaining security of the organisations data, access and authentication and backup systems.
Your skills and experience
• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in a relevant discipline
• Previous roles in customer service with excellent customer service skills
• Demonstrated ability to create and update and maintain documentation.
• Demonstrated server and communications network system administration skills.
• Demonstrated use of change management systems and facilitating project delivery.
• Demonstrated experience in the support of technology systems using helpdesk software
