The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) is seeking to recruit an allied health professional with experience in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation to join their primary health team. This role is responsible for improving health outcomes for people living with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cardiovascular disease, mental illness and dementia and to improve their quality of life specifically those living in the Glamorgan Spring Bay municipality. Experience in exercise programming is essential.

This health worker position is for an initial period until 30th June 2021 and remuneration will be based on qualifications and experience (Health Professionals & Support Services Award).

This will suit those who enjoy being busy, managing their caseloads and administration, and those that are driven working autonomously on a daily basis (there will be no shortage of patients as it is a free service) and you will still have the benefits of a wider team.

There are so many reasons to live and work on the East Coast of Tasmania, this job being one of them! But it is also home to world class beaches, rainforests, mountain bike trails and endless bush walking options. It is also home to historical townships, fresh seafood and eateries and a range of fishing, surfing and diving options if that is your thing. Or simply enjoy the quiet time on offer here away from the rush of city life.
