Join the team

Senior Dentist Vaibhav Garg and the RFDS Oral Health team are the faces that bring a smile to remote and rural SA and NT.

Working from clinics, vans and even landing strips, the team has shifted its treatments from emergency-focused treatments to a more holistic program that includes promoting preventative care and targeting at-risk patients living with diabetes and chronic disease.

"In many communities, we are finding increasing demand for our service. It's much more than dealing with immediate dental problems," Dr Vaibhav said.

"It's about preventative dentistry and kids learning about caring for their teeth and healthy food choices."
