Senior Payroll Officer
The RFDS has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Payroll Officer to join our team based in Jandakot. This is a permanent part-time role working 0.6 FTE.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the delivery and timely payroll function and ensuring statutory reporting and compliance related activities.
About you
Previous experience performing all end to end payroll.
Previous supervisory experience of other Payroll Officers.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong attention to detail.
High quality organisational skills and ability to work under pressure to tight timelines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Intermediate experience with the Microsoft products – Excel, Word and Outlook.
Experience in reading and interpreting industrial awards, enterprise agreements and legislation relevant to payroll.
Previous experience in ADP or Dayforce will be considered advantageous.
Requirements – National Police Clearance and a minimum of three Covid-19 vaccinations.

About the role
End-to-end payroll on a fortnightly basis
Maintain in-house salary sacrifice data and report updated information to Salary Packaging provider to ensure employees remain within FBT capped limits
Perform End of Financial Year processes
Maintain and update system parameters for leave, pay classes, allowances, deductions, STP requirements etc
Maintain knowledge of upcoming legislative payroll changes
Provide leadership support to the Payroll Officer
