Quality Assurance Specialist

We have a vacancy for a full-time Quality Assurance Specialist to join our tight-knit team based at Jandakot. This role is primarily responsible for assessing and reporting on the effectiveness of quality processes, while promoting, coordinating and maintaining our risk and quality assurance programs. With a keen eye for continuous improvement, the ideal candidate is able to develop and implements system to support objectives and targets as well as providing advice on compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
About the role
Drive the implementation, monitoring and review of processes, tools and systems to identify, assess, measure, manage, monitor and report on quality assurance, compliance and continuous improvement
Promotion of the quality assurance framework
Advise the organisation in the development and maintenance of templates, forms, manuals, registers, action plans, reports and monitoring of the framework
Provide oversight of the RFDS WO audit program to monitor compliance with the quality assurance framework
Drive the development of internal audit tools and processes to comply with requirements of the quality assurance framework
Conduct formal internal compliance monitoring/ audits and reviews and report on findings together with recommendations. This includes compliance with risk management frameworks, systems, controls, legislation and organisational policies
About you
Relevant qualifications in quality assurance, audit and risk management
Proven experience in the development, implementation, maintenance and evaluation of quality assurance, audit and risk management systems
Knowledge of legislative compliance and Australian Standards
Ability to undertake audits and systems reviews and complete relevant reports
High level written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster strong working relationships with internal stakeholders within a multidisciplinary team environment
Strong analytical skills and the ability to problem solve
Capacity to work flexibly, under limited supervision, with an ability to prioritise efforts in accordance with the strategic needs of the organisation
