Partnerships Manager
The Partnerships Manager is a leader in the Community Relations team and an active ambassador for the RFDS in the community. The position will lead and grow our valued portfolio of corporate and community partners and a develop a strategy to strengthen partnerships with our varied network of RFDS stakeholders around WA to ensure we are providing the best impact for our patients and communities we serve.
The right person for this role will have:
- Extensive experience and skills to secure, manage and grow partnerships and a complex stakeholder engagement framework.
- A proactive, strategic and innovative approach to partnership and stakeholder development.
- Proven experience to establish and manage high-value corporate and cross-sector partnerships.
- Advanced ability to manage productive relationships with a range of stakeholders across sectors and regions.
- The ability to think strategically, make sound decisions and influence others, internally and externally.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesise complex information and data into compelling funding proposals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
About the role:
This position plays a key role in growing partnerships in all areas of the RFDS. Key areas of responsibility include:
- Developing and delivering a plan to lead and grow our valued portfolio of corporate partnerships.
- Working with the Director of Community Relations to introduce an organisation-wide approach to stakeholder management.
- Coaching and supporting colleagues across RFDS to manage partnerships in their own areas.
- Leading consultation, collaboration and other community engagement activities to enhance RFDS services and impact.
- Bringing diverse stakeholders together to achieve shared goals.
- Demonstrating our impact through a social impact and evaluation framework.
- Being an active ambassador for the RFDS and an advocate for the communities we serve.

About Us
The mission of the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Western Operations) is to provide excellence in aeromedical and primary health care across Western Australia. Every member of the RFDS WO team contributes to that mission and living our values of showing respect, demonstrating fairness, utilising diversity and being safe. Every year, the RFDS WO provides urgent retrieval for about 10,000 patients in regional WA. A further 10,000 appointments are provided in primary healthcare clinics in remote communities, including GP, nurse, dental and mental health care. RFDS crews are committed to providing the finest care to the furthest corners of the State, using the highest standards of clinical care, aviation safety and technology to make a difference to people living and working across WA – the largest and most remote health jurisdiction in the world.
The RFDS in WA operates five bases in Perth, Broome, Port Hedland, Kalgoorlie and Meekatharra. Our 24/7 operations centre at Jandakot Airport coordinates complex logistics for patient retrievals and clinics across the State.
