Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - B1
We have a unique opportunity for two B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (LAMEs) who are looking for a role with purpose. The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out repairs and maintenance on our fleet of PC-12s and PC24s. These roles work Monday to Friday (day shifts only) and are located at Jandakot airport.
About you
Hold or ability to hold a CASA issued Aircraft Engineer Licence with categories and ratings applicable to the operational requirements of the RFDS WO
Demonstrated knowledge of aircraft maintenance documentation and traceability systems
Experience in Aircraft Line Maintenance and/or Heavy Maintenance activity
Regulatory knowledge relative to roles and responsibilities
Excellent trade skills in area of expertise
Organised with strong time management skills
Competent computer skills, including aircraft maintenance management software
About the role
Responsible for conducting both scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance
Troubleshoot issues and be able to suggest and undertake solutions
Informing the Head of Engineering and Senior Engineer on progress and issues which may impact the scheduled completion date
Reporting of Hazards, defects and safety issues immediately
Ensure all applicable maintenance documentation is completed accurately and on time

40 hours per fortnight, Monday to Friday days (paid for 38 hours and one paid day off per month)
Salary packaging - up to $15,900 per annum for everyday expenses and up to $2,650 per annum on meals and entertainment expenses

The mission of the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Western Operations) is to provide excellence in aeromedical and primary health care across Western Australia.
