Anaesthetic and Retrieval Registrars

Emergency Medicine - Retrieval Registrar

We have two six-month accredited positions in retrieval medicine with the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Western Australia, suitable for advanced trainees registered with the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine. Positions commence early and mid 2023.

Anaesthetic Fellowship

This 12 month fellowship involves six months in retrieval medicine with the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Western Australia and six months of general anaesthesia fellowship at Fiona Stanley Hospital. Applicants must be registered with the Australia & New Zealand College of Anaesthetists. Positions commence early and mid 2023.

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must be eligible for full Australian registration, with a minimum of five years postgraduate experience including Emergency Medicine, Anaesthetics and Acute Paediatrics. Ability to independently manage critically ill and injured patients, including procedural skills relevant to critical care medicine is essential. Excellent communication and team work skills are required.

Experience in Obstetrics, Pre-Hospital or Retrieval medicine are desirable.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Employment contracts for these positions will be for six months only. A formal orientation program is provided. Salary packaging is available.
