Fly-In Fly-Out Retrieval Doctor

We are seeking experienced, energetic doctors for a fly-in fly-out position at our Meekatharra base in Western Australia. Duties include:

• Critical care aeromedical retrievals
• Telemedicine advice

This varied and exciting position is based on a "four weeks on / four weeks off" roster. It offfers the opportunity to work with a team of other doctors and allied staff servicing a large area of Western Australia.

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must be eligible for full Australian registration, with a minimum of five years postgraduate experience including Emergency Medicine, Anaesthetics and Paediatrics. Ability to independently manage critically ill and injured patients, including procedural skills relevant to critical care medicine is essential. Excellent communication and team work skills are required.

Experience in Obstetrics, Primary Health Care, Pre-Hospital or Retrieval medicine, regional or remote medical practice are desirable.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Employment contracts for this position will be for a minimum of one year. A formal orientation program and relocation assistance is provided, plus opportunities
to complete EMST, APLS and other courses. The excellent remuneration package includes a house and car, travel expenses, holiday and study leave. Salary packaging is available.
